Barbara Ann Soileau

Barbara Ann Soileau, 72, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014, in local hospital surrounded by family. Services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 10 am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church with Rev. Edward J. Richard, M.S. officiating. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South. Visitation will be on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 4-9 pm at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with a rosary at 7 pm and resume Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 9 am til the time of service. Barbara was a loving housewife who loved to fish, loved her grandchildren, great grand children and loved doing crafts. She was also a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church. Barbara is survived by her three sons, David (Gayla) Gaspard, Troy (Amanda) Gaspard and Russell (Tonya) Gaspard; fiancé, Wilfred "Will" Matte; stepson, Troy Matte; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband Frank Gaspard, stepdaughters, Robin Traxler and Amber Woods, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
