Barbara Ann Thibodeaux

Barbara Ann Addison Gaspard Mott Thibodeaux, 72, of Lake Charles, LA passed away at 12:45 AM on Sunday, December 4, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Thibodeaux was born May 30, 1939 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School and Sowela Technical School, where she received her nursing assistant degree. She was a member of First Church of Christ and enjoyed reading, cooking and was a movie collector. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Thibodeaux is survived by her husband of thirty-five years, Richard Thibodeaux; children, Michael Ray Mott and wife Karen, Darrell Glenn Mott, Catherine Sue Napaluch and husband John, Jeffrey Dean Mott and fiance'e, Crystal LeBlanc, and Melissa Dawn Sallier and husband Scot Wendtland; step-childsons, Ronald Thibodeaux and Ricky Thibodeaux; sister, Elaine Deshotel; brother, Melvin Addison; twenty-four grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Evelyn Kay Mott; grandchild, Michael Joseph Fontenot; great-grandchild, Avery Alexander Napaluch; and step-son, Mike Thibodeaux.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
