Barbara Ann Young

Barbara Ann Young, 70, of LeBleu Settlement died on Saturday, February 7, 2015 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on December 14, 1944 in Iowa, LA to Wilson and Isabelle Johnson. Barbara enjoyed being around family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking and playing on her i pad. She was a lifelong resident of LeBleu Settlement. She is survived by four children, two sons, Steven Young , Ronnie Young and wife Cherie ; two daughters, Suzanna Young of LeBleu Settlement and Angela Soileau of Iowa, LA; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one loving brother Miegel and wife Dubbie Johnson of LeBleu Settlement. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 44 years, Gerald Young; four brothers; and three sisters. Services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary 6:00 PM Rosary Sunday, February 8, 2015. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at LeBleu Cemetery. Pastor Todd Schumacher will officiate services.
