Barbara Vidrine Isgitt Cardwell, 76 of Sulphur, passed away on February, 4, 2012 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Craig Brown officiating. Burial will be the DeQuincy Masonic Cemetery in DeQuincy, LA. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 5, 2012 from 3-9 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Monday at 8 a.m. until time of service Barbara was a native of Oakdale and a longtime Sulphur resident. After raising her children, she went back to school and received her LPN Degree and worked as a nurse until retiring. Barbara is survived by her three daughters, Carol Isgitt Ames and husband, Louis of Seguin, TX, Ann Long and husband, Buddy Jr. of DeQuincy and Pam Stutes and husband, Rex of Carlyss; two sisters, Gail Grayson of Gonzales, LA and Jeanine Oubre and husband, Don of Prairieville, LA; two brothers, Phil Vidrine of Houston, TX, and Ricky Vidrine and wife, Kayla of Sulphur; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Cardwell; one daughter, Belinda Cole; and two brothers. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
