Barkley Rey Roux

Barkley Rey Roux, 70, of Lake Charles passed away at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 in a local hospital.

Mr. Roux was born and raised in Cameron where he was a graduate of South Cameron High School and moved to Lake Charles in 2008.  He was a manager at Ryan’s Steakhouse as well as a dispatcher in the oil field.  Mr. Roux attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church.  He enjoyed playing Backgammon on the computer.

Survivors are his daughters, Raquel Southern (Ronnie) of Westlake and Ashley Roux (James Langley, Jr.) of Lake Charles; sisters, Bridget Oglesby and Jessye Roux both of Lake Charles; and two granddaughters, Jordan and Jenny Southern.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Marie Venable Roux.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
