Barry Edgar Russell

Barry Edgar Russell, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2022.  Barry joins his parents Aubrey “Buck” Russell and Dorothy Reynolds Russell, who preceded him in death.

Barry was born in Bossier City, LA on October 6, 1941, and was a lifelong resident of Sulphur, LA.  He enjoyed bass fishing and college sports, supporting his favorite baseball and football teams, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and LSU Tigers.  Barry was also a fan of the New Orleans Saints and Houston Astros. He worked in operations for many years at Westlake Chemical before retiring in 2003

Barry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Pearl Faulk Russell of Sulphur; sons, Beau Russell of Sulphur; Greg Russell and wife Kristi of Sulphur; Ryan Russell and wife Missy of Sulphur; Wesley Russell and wife Laura of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Mark Russell of Little Rock Arkansas, Kaelob and Kody Russell of Sulphur, Chase and Cade Russell of Sulphur.

In honor of Barry’s wishes, the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
