Barry Lee Corbins

Barry Lee Corbins 64, born October 18, 1958 in Crowley, Louisiana to the late Alfred Corbins, Sr. and Permella Corbins went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Barry was a resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana and for a time lived in California. He was an Army Veteran, and a truck driver. 

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Corbins of California; one daughter, Demetria Corbins of Dallas Texas; five grandchildren, Devonta Corbins, Aniyah and Nevaeh Guillory, Tatyana, and Zeenat Jackson; three sisters, Pamela Marie (Carlton) Stevens, Annette Marie (Ricky) Mayo of Lake Charles, Louisiana, and Sabrina Ann Corbins; brother, Curtis Lee Corbins of Dallas, Texas; and one brother preceded in death, Alfred Anthony Corbins, Jr.

He is also survived by brothers in law, Chester, Sam, and Jermaine Jackson, Samuel Scott, and Yonel Ulceus; nieces and nephews, Jasmine and Kelvin Hughes, Vincent, Kenny, Kristal, and Jordan Beverly, Keicha Haskell, Givonna and Lil Jermaine Jackson, Gion Johnson, Desmond and Jered Stevens, Lamar and Destenie Mayo, and Brooklin and Demarkus Corbins; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 3007 Enterprise Blvd., Lake Charles, LA 70601.  Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
