Belcy Roger Beaugh Arabie

Belcy Roger Beaugh Arabie, 95, of Lake Charles died at 3:50 PM on Friday, August 16, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Arabie was born on December 9, 1917 in China, TX and was raised in Bell City. She was a resident of Lake Charles since 1942 where she was a long time member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish her memory are six children, Neal Beaugh of Oberlin, Dennis Beaugh of Sulphur, Timothy Beaugh of Scott, Bernice Bertrand of Lake Charles, Helen Nassar of Sulphur, and Nelda Landry of South Carolina; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her children, Hebert Beaugh; her second husband, Joe Arabie; and a daughter, Katheryn Morgan.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, August 19, 2013 at St. Margaret Catholic Church. The Rev. Bill Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Garden Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday in the funeral home from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM.
