Benjamin “Ben” Day, 34, passed away on January 8, 2018 in a local hospital.
Ben was born on April 15, 1983 to Randy and Carol Day in Duquoin, IL. He worked as a crane operator for Sarens Crane Company. He was an avid reader and enjoyed riding all terrain vehicles, fishing, the outdoors and spoiling his nieces and nephews. He was very talented and also enjoyed playing music and singing to his wife.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Courtney Eaves Day; his parents, Randy and Carol Day; siblings, Gerald Day (Kayla), Daniel Day (Joni), Jordan Day (Rebekah); grandmother, Lorena Day; nine nieces; one nephew; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Kenneth Day; and maternal grandparents, Pearl and Earl Ellis.
His funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 12, 2018 at First Apostolic Church in Moss Bluff, LA. The Rev. Jon Hair will officiate. Burial will follow the service in New Ritchie Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
