Benjamin Keith Lindemann was born June 3, 1987, in Lake Charles, LA and passed away after a brief illness on January 29, 2024.
Southwest Louisiana has always been his home, he grew up in Iowa, LA and attended Iowa High School, graduating class of 2005. He excelled in football and track, holding several records to this day. His talent and dedication awarded him several college scholarships, but sadly following a severe accident he was no longer able to play.
He was a member of Refuge Temple and held many jobs as a metal fabricator, environmental safety, and construction. He is best remembered for his selfless nature, kind heart, and love of family.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mona and Robert Lindemann; step-maternal grandfather, Alfred Miller; and step-paternal grandmother, Linda Hutchins.
He is survived by his daughter, Aubree Lindemann; mother, Mona “Shelly” LaFleur and step-father, John LaFleur; father, Rocky Fontenot and step-mother Mae Fontenot; grandparents; Dallas and Judy Fontenot, step-maternal grandmother, Jocelyn Miller; siblings, Dylan Hesse, Madison LaFleur, and Jacob LaFleur.
Memorial services led by Weldon Barras will be held, Thursday, February 1, 2024 beginning 12pm at Simple Traditions by Johnsons. Visitation will begin 10am til time of service.
In lieu of flowers, family invites you to make a memorial contribution to Waters Edge Community Outreach program, or any non-profit organization who aid in addiction treatment and recovery.
