Bennie Louis Buller

Bennie Louis Buller, 83, of Iowa passed away at 5:30 PM on Monday, September 3, 2018 in his residence.

Mr. Buller was born on September 17, 1934 in Iowa where he currently resided. He served in the US Navy before working and retiring from Montell. Mr. Buller was an active member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and an active member of the Cursillo Movement.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 60 years, Eula Rae Johnson Buller of Iowa; six children, Roland Buller (Cathy) of Westlake, Colin Buller (Amanda) of Bell City, Warren Buller (Beth) of Lake Charles, Elizabeth Faulk (Darrel) of Welsh, John Buller (Jennifer) of Iowa, and the Very Reverend Ruben Buller of Lake Charles; fourteen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ida Mae Ezell Buller and a brother, Roy Buller.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton. The Very Rev. Ruben Buller will officiate. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin in the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday in the church hall beginning at 9:00 AM until the start of the Mass.
