Bennie Stine

Bennie Eugene Stine, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 17, 1947, to Mildred Opal Batchelor Stine and Virgil Eugene Stine.

Bennie was a 1965 graduate of LaGrange High School. He honorably served in the United States Navy, where he dedicated several years to his country. After his military service, he retired as an Estimator with IMTC. Bennie was passionate about gardening, particularly cultivating flowers and vegetables. He also enjoyed fishing, cooking, and, most importantly, spending time with his beloved family.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Doris A. Lampin Stine; children, Tonya Jevann Stine, David Hennigan, Dianne Hennigan, and Rebecca Epperson; grandchildren, Jordan Stine, Timothy Hennigan, Justin Epperson, and Josh Epperson; seven great grandchildren; sister, Jo Ann Benoit; nephew, Andrew Benoit; and fur baby, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Funeral Service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Prien Memorial Cemetery.
