Bernadine Wesley

Bernadine Wesley, 70, of Carlyss, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, with her family at her side.

A lifelong Sulphur resident, she was member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. Bernadine loved gardening, painting, and sewing. She and her husband, Richard, enjoyed many road trips looking for antique treasures. She was a loving and caring person often donating her time and talents for charity causes.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Richard Wesley, Sr; two sons, Richard Wesley, Jr and wife Cassie, and Charles Ray Wesley all of Sulphur; four grandchildren, Chance Wesley and wife Jacey, Chase Wesley, Ashlyn Wesley, and Hunter Wesley; and two great grandchildren on the way. She will also be greatly missed by her sisters, Trisha Drost and Marquette Ancelet; brother, Donnie Ancelet; many nieces and nephews; and her faithful fur baby “Bella”.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jamie Wesley; and a special fur baby, “Couche-Couche”,

Funeral Services honoring Bernadine’s life will be held at 1pm, Friday, September 9, 2022, in Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Edgerly.  Father John Welch will officiate. Visitation will be held Friday, 10AM to 1PM at the funeral home.
