Bernardine Lorraine Grindol

Bernardine Lorraine Grindol, 72, died peacefully at home in Lake Charles, LA on July 27, 2021.  Lorraine was born on June 14, 1949 in Mobile, AL to Bernard Eli and Rosie Pauline Leytham Howell.

She will be remembered for her unending amount of compassion, and her countless hours sharing all that she had with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, April Muth (Joseph) of Lake Charles; her son, Stanley Mulkey of Lake Charles; her brothers, Dale Howell of Ragley, LA, and James Howell of Lake Charles; her sister, Betty Saine of Austell, GA; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her funeral service will be at 5:00 PM on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at University Baptist Church.  Pastor John Astling will officiate.  Cremation after the service has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation on Saturday will be at the church from 3:00 PM until the start of the service.
