Bernice Brunell

Bernice Brunell, 98, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in her residence.  Mrs. Brunell was born on July 8, 1925 to Agnew Kenneth and Lillie Mae (Sykes) Bogie in Delhi, LA.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing with her church friends and going out to eat at restaurants.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Gayle Bradshaw (Donald) and Randy Miller (Pete); grandchildren, Clay Bradshaw, Crystal Gill (Jeremiah), and Alex Miller (Marissa); Great grandchildren, Cameron Bradshaw, Noah, Eli and Evie Lord, Tucker, Cooper and Weston Miller; siblings, Wesley Bogie and A.G. Bogie.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Brunell; parents; siblings, Daisy, Louise, Ruby, Fannie, and Jesse.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 12:00pm at Westside Baptist Church under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with Rev. Luke Liechty officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Tx.  Visitation will begin at 11:00am until the service time at the church.
