Bernice Miller Clark

Bernice Miller Clark, 84, of Lake Charles died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Clark was a life long resident of Grand Chenier, LA. She has lived in Lake Charles since Hurricane Rita. She was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church. Mrs. Clark was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother with an overwhelming love for her family. She will be most remembered for her laughter and her smile.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Adam Miller and wife Marlene of Carencro and Roy Allen Clark and wife Iris of Lake Charles; one daughter, Mary Ann Clark of Carencro; one granddaughter, Jennifer Gilbert and husband John of Basile; one great- granddaughter, Haley Gilbert of Basile; one step grandson, Edward Perez of Lake Charles and two step granddaughters, Iris Perez and Michelle Gaylor, both of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Cedlize Miller; five brothers and one sister.

Memorial services will be at 4:00 PM Friday, November 19, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Glenn Viau will officiate. Visitation Friday will be from 2:00 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
