Bertha Lynn Landry, 51, of Sulphur passed away on February 10, 2020 in a local hospital. Bertha loved spending time with her family, taking care of her nieces, nephews, especially the babies. She had a heart of gold, loved everyone with her whole heart and soul. Bertha never said good-bye it was always “later”.
Bertha is survived by her husband of 34 years, Thravis Landry of Sulphur; son, Harold James Bumgarden and fiancé Daneille; 2 daughters, Stacy Bumgarden and Amanda Bumgarden; 5 grandchildren, Zoey, Zander, Victoria, Bradley, and Harper; father, John Logray and step-mother, Reva Logray; 3 siblings, Brenda Adkins and husband David, Lester Logray and wife Andrea, and Robert Monceaux and wife Renee; step brothers, Jeff Gary, Jr. and Troy Gary; step sisters, Crystal Hebert and Tracy Gary; nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews; and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha Logray; granddaughter, Zayla Maricle; sister, Rose Romero; brother, T’ John Logray; and nephew, Jeremiah Hitt.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 11 A.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clayton Fontenot officiating. Burial will be in Lacassine Cemetery in Lacassine under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 13, 2020 from 5-8 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing Friday, February 14 from 10 A.M. until time of the service.
