Beryl Kathleen Rohrman

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Sulphur with Father John Raish officiating.

Beryl Kathleen Rohrman 93, passed away on March 23, 2014 in Lafayette. LA in her home. She was born in Sugar Creek, PA and lived in Sulphur since 1950. Beryl graduated in 1937 from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended business school for two years. Beryl was the last remaining charter member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church where she served on the Vestry, as an organist, and as choir director. She belonged to the Pink Ladies at Cal-Cam Hospital for over 30 years, a camp fire leader for over 12 years, and loved visiting the nursing home and spending time with all the residents. She enjoyed nature and traveling with her husband on many trips around the country. Beryl also was a member of the Swinging Rebels Square Dancing Club for 5 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.

Beryl is survived by her three daughters, Judith Escoubas and husband, Roy of Stillwater, OK, Mary Duhon and husband, Keith of Lafayette, LA and Donna Allen and husband, Daren of Houston, TX; 7 grandchildren, Jennifer Escoubas and husband, Chris Bradburn, Melinda Escoubas, Sara Kruse, Martinique Mickal and husband, Kyle, Chase Duhon, Callie Venable and husband, David, Tara Levitin and companion Jack Thompson;12 great grandchildren, Harry and Lauren Bradburn, Wyat Escoubas, Anna, Brett, Emma, Andrew, and Rebecca Kruse, Lucy and Texas Feeney, Frankie Thompson and Aleya Duhon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Rohrman; grandson, Levi Levitin; parents, Samuel and Mary Say; brother, Wayne Say and sister, Evelyn Badger.

The family would like to thank Rosewood Assisted Living in Lafayette and IBC Hospice for the excellent care of their mother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.robisonfuneralhome.com
