Bessie Coley Langley

Bessie "Babe" Coley Langley, 73, of Iowa died at 4:45 AM on Wednesday, July 09, 2014 in her residence. She will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved her for her loving kindness and zest for life. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Those left to cherish her memory are her five children, Francis Prejean Bailey of Deridder, LA, Judy Fontenot of Eunice, LA, Darlene Guidry of Iowa, James Langley of Iowa, LA, and Ricky Langley of Baton Rouge; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; three brothers; and two sisters. She was married to the late Alcide Joseph Langley. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Robin Norris will officiate. Burial will follow in Hebert Cemetery in Hecker, LA. Visitation will begin on Friday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Saturday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
