Bessie Marie Hebert, 88, of Lake Charles, LA died Sunday, July 27, 2014 in a local care facility. Bessie was born on December 20, 1925 in Eunice, LA to Lannye and Amy Breaux. She loved cooking, drawing, painting, and being around family and friends. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church for sixty plus years. She lived most of her life in Sweetlake, Louisiana. She is survived by one son, Ernest Peter Fontenot of Old Hickory, TN; four daughters, Alberta Marie Huffman of Moss Bluff, Geraldine Eva Baggett and husband Marshal of Lake Charles, Deborah Stevens and husband Robert of Calhoun, LA, and Earline Mary Wilks and husband Larry of Boiling Springs, SC; two sisters, Elsie Perkins Hollier of Moss Bluff and Ada Aquillard of Cameron, LA; one brother, Austin Breaux and wife Gertrude of Lake Charles, LA; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grand children; and 7 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Calory Fontenot; and one sister, Lessie Adams. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a 6:00 pm rosary at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 8:00 am until time of service at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery. Rev. Marshal Baggett, Rev. Larry Wilks, and Rev. Rob Stevens will officiate services.
