Beth Alayne Nelson

Beth Alayne Nelson, 64, of Lake Charles died at 7:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2012 in her residence.

Mrs. Nelson was born in Springfield, Illinois and has lived in Lake Charles since 1985. She was a 1966 graduate of Fritshams High School and was also a graduate of Burns University in Springfield where she graduated in nursing. She worked in Lake Charles as a nurse for several years working at various hospitals and nursing homes. She loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband Frank Nelson of Lake Charles, LA one daughter, Cara Louise Chronister Fuselier of Carlyss, LA, one brother, Richard Chronister and wife Carroll of Pennsylvania, one sister, Jan Belford and husband Don of Divernon, Il, five grandchildren, Brandon Chronister, Ashley Kwiatkowski, Krista Broxson, Grant Lee Chesson and Maygin Chesson.

Beth is preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Burl Chronister, one daughter, Kristen Grant Chesson.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Nickels will officiate. Visitation will begin on Monday at 5:00 PM until the time of services. Mrs. Nelson's wishes were to be donated to science for medical use.
