Bethany Lynn Reeves

Bethany Lynn Reeves, 54, died September 23, 2017 at her residence.

Bethany was a life-long resident of Lake Charles and a 1981 graduate of Barbe High School. She was kind, compassionate friend to many, always willing to help those in need. She was a hairstylist, along with her mother and brother Jeff, in the family business, New Look and Hair Trends for many years. Bethany attended Water’s Edge Church.

Bethany was preceded in death by her brother, David Tarver, Jr. Survivors include her children, Jarib Holleman, Johnathan Reeves and Katelyn Holleman; mother, Carolyn Tarver Comeaux Arceneaux; father, David Tarver, Sr.; brother, Jeff Tarver; five grandchildren, Braedyn Holleman, Kamdyn Holleman, Natalie Valentine, Trace Valentine, Zoe McNaley and another on the way; family of the heart, Frank and Louise Hubig; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Bethany’s life will take place on Friday September 29, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Bourque officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Family graveside services will be at a later date.
