Betty Coleman

Betty Coleman, 81, of Sulphur, passed away November 5, 2012 at Cornerstone Hospital in Sulphur, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Shirley officiating. Burial will be at Hyatt Cemetery under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 7th from 5pm-9pm at Robison Funeral Home and will resume on Thursday at 8 am at the funeral home until time of service. Betty was a native of Fields, LA and a longtime Sulphur resident. She was a homemaker and a member of Celebration Worship Center. She loved gardening and traveling and was a retired nurse. Betty is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Coleman of Sulphur, LA; sisters: Ella Hyatt and husband Prentice of Starks, LA and Brenda Kramer of Sulphur, LA; granddaughters: Jamie Roger of Sulphur, LA and Malora Coleman of Lake Charles, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Coleman; son, Keith Coleman; parents, Lloyd and Hazel Smith; brothers: Lloyd Jr. and Albert Smith; and sister, Selma McFadden.
