Betty Jane Ardoin

Betty Jane Ardoin, 73, of Carlyss, LA went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on March 21, 1950, in Leesville, LA to Nettie and Edward McDaniel. Betty was always known for being extremely generous, loving and very compassionate of the needs of others with a heart of gold. She will always be known for a loving lady deep seated in faith and love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Betty enjoyed being around church friends and family, crafting, painting and loving those from all around. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 53 years, John “Wayne” Ardoin; two children, Stacy Ardoin Comeaux and husband Kevin and Amanda Ardoin Lavergne and husband Andrew; two grandchildren, Devin Comeaux and Kaitlyn Lavergne; 2 siblings, Lavern McDaniel and Allie Smith. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Nettie Dowden McDaniel; 9 siblings, Charles McDaniel, Peggy McDaniel, Reba McDaniel Gordon, Mary McDaniel Ogea, Leroy McDaniel, Wilbur McDaniel, Paul McDaniel, Glenn McDaniel, and June McDaniel Hovatter; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Lifepoint Church in Sulphur, LA. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will resume from 9:00 AM until the time of services at LifePoint Pentecostal Church on Saturday. Burial will be at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff following services and is under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
