Betty Jane Landry, 80, of Sulphur, Louisiana, gained her wings on February 3rd,2025 at a local medical facility in Sulphur, LA. Betty was born December 18th, 1944, to Eldridge Domingue, and Agnes Domingue.
Betty Jane lived her entire life in Southwest, Louisiana. Outside of her family, many people remember Betty from her many years, of working at Mr. Burger, and Diamond Shamrock. At one point in her life, she also owned the I-10 Texaco service station on Belden Street. She was a joy in life, and truly never met a stranger. Everyone who came to meet Betty, became family instantly. She would instantly begin, making you laugh, until you cried. Overall, the one thing Betty was most proud of, was her large family. Betty had 3 children, who gave her many grandchildren, and so forth, and so on. She adored her grandchildren, as she had many to do so with. Betty will always be remembered by her true nickname, “Granny”. Betty leaves behind a longstanding legacy, filled with family, love, and joy most of all.
Those left to cherish the life of Betty Jane Landry are her two sons, Daniel Peshoff (Michele), of Grand Lake, Louisiana; James Owen of Sulphur, Louisiana; and daughter, Tina Thompson (Mike) of Sulphur, Louisiana. Twelve Grandchildren, and numerous Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren, and a host of life-long friends.
