Betty Jo Gaspard

Betty Jo Gaspard, 86, of Lake Charles passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

She was born on June 19, 1934 in Rayne, La to August and Agnes Bordes Leger and spent most of her life in Lake Charles.  Mrs. Gaspard was a loving mother and grandmother. She worked in the food industry for many years until retiring from Picadilly.

Survivors include her son, Billy Frank Gaspard and wife Glenda; daughter, Nona Gaspard Reid and husband Michael; daughter in law, Darlene Gaspard; 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband Lester J. Gaspard; son Lester Paul Gaspard; daughter, Tina Marie Landry; grandchildren, Bo Gaspard, Shannon Gaspard and Amy Nicole Gaspard and five siblings.

Funeral services will be on Monday September 21, 2020 at noon in Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with Fr. Andrew DeRouen officiating.  Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles.  Visitation will be on Monday at 10:00am until noon at the funeral home.
