Betty Jo Peshoff LeBleu, 76, went home to be with Jesus Friday, November 11, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was born in Cameron and was a resident of Big Lake.
Betty was a faithful member of Big Lake Gospel Tabernacle. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her great love during her life was her family. She also loved to cook and people enjoyed eating her cooking. Betty was a dedicated caregiver to many and she was a graduate of Creole High School. She loved flower gardens and taking Caribbean Cruises. Betty will dearly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Elray LeBleu; three daughters, Connie Brister and husband Allen, Cheryl Daigle and husband Ray, Donna Fontenot and husband Toby all of Big Lake; 7 grandchildren, Rachelle Mitchell, Micah Brister, Sarah Mann, Alyssa Fontenot, Matthew Daigle, Tasha Fontenot, Callie Fontenot; 7 great grandchildren, Cade, Luke, Rebecca, Jadah, Olivia, Brendan, and Ruth; many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Virginia Peshoff and her sister, Loretta Taber.
Funeral service will be held Monday, November 14, 2011 at 1PM. Rev. Garry Mann will officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday from 4 PM-9 PM and will continue Monday at 8 AM until time of service.
Cremation is entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
