Betty Lee Boudreaux, 74, of Hackberry, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on July 22, 2024. Betty was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church for many years. She had a daycare where she took loving care of children for some time. Betty was dedicated to cooking and cleaning for several local fishing/ hunting camps. Her passion was cooking for her family and friends, and she enjoyed nothing more than visiting with them while sitting outside watching the ducks.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory are her children, Darrell Guidry (Theresa), James Boudreaux (Joni), Brad Boudreaux (Cassy); grandchildren, Tabetha Nunez, Garrett Guidry (Jeri), Gavin Guidry (Jamie), Seth Boudreaux (Macie), Sydni Boudreaux, Brody Boudreaux, Brant Boudreaux; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Sue Roe (Ralph), Marie Moreida.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Robby Lee Boudreaux; mother, Frances Malone; father, Mitchell Johnson; brothers, Mike Johnson, Frank Mancil.
The family would like to thank Heart of Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time.
Reece Trahan, Karson Jinks, Jaron Landry, Tayt Little, Bubba Roe, and Dallas Trost will be serving Betty as her Pall Bearers.
A Mass will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Hackberry. Burial will follow at Hackberry Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends at St. Peter’s Catholic Church from 10 AM until time for Mass at 1:30 PM. A recitation of the rosary will be held at 12:30 PM.
