Betty Melancon Corrigan

Betty Louise Melancon Corrigan, 79, of Longville passed away Monday, September 2, 2013 in her residence.

She was born in Roanoke, LA and lived in Lake Charles many years prior to living in Port Arthur, TX. Mrs. Corrigan moved to Longville in 1991.

She is survived by her husband, Patrick G. Corrigan; daughters, Becky Parks of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brenda Greathouse and husband Charles of Moss Bluff, and Angie Castille of Houston, TX; sons, Randall Melancon and wife Patricia and Paul Melancon and wife Laura all of Lake Charles; ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren; two sisters; Flora Bell Cerdes and Gerri Murphy. She is preceded in death by seven brothers and five sisters.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home with Interment at 2:00 PM in the Lacassine Cemetery.
