Betty P. Gordon

Betty P. Gordon, 45 of Moss Bluff, LA died Saturday, March 7, 2015 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on February 14, 1970 in Alliance, OH to Forrest and Bonnie Evey. She enjoyed playing games, bingo and spending time with her family. Betty also cherished being with her two grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Dennis Gordon of Moss Bluff; four children, Andrea Evey, Austin Gordon, Torie Gordon, and Andrew Gordon, all of Moss Bluff, LA; two grandchildren, Skylar Deshotel and Grant Prince of Moss Bluff; five brothers, Paul Evey of Lake Charles, LA, Joe Evey of Canton, OH, Bobby Butterfield of Sulphur, LA, David Evey of Sulphur, LA and Henry "Spanky" Butterfield of Sulphur, LA; three sisters, April Richard of San Antonio, TX, Loretta Evey of Ragley, LA, and Mary Evey of Canton, OH. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Johnny Butterfield; and one sister, Janet Butterfield. Services will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Lee Thomas will officiate Services.
