Betty Prather

Betty Prather 67, of Lake Charles, LA passed away surrounded by her loving family on July 20, 2024. She was born on September 16, 1956, to Joseph Herbert and Laura Louise Prather.

She loved the beach atmosphere, enjoyed painting, and most definitely enjoyed spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Matt Hebert (Sarah), Danae Vaughn (David), Denise Hebert, Jessica Styles (Chris), Kayla Prather, Gayla Prather; grandchildren, Kimberly Prather, Nathan Francois, Jason Nisby, Jennifer Hebert, Kennedi Johnson, Kyndall Scott, Peyton Vaughn, Andrew Hebert, Emma Hebert, DeShaun Styles, Aaron Styles, Tre Styles, Landon Styles, Ariana Styles; siblings, Laura Bergeaux (Robert), Cathy Richard (Bobby), Becky Doucet (LeRoy), Jeanette Hebert, Paulette Hunter (Danny); numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty is proceeded in death by her parents, Herbet Prather and Laura Louise Leger; grandchild, Kayden Francois; siblings, Barbara Rachal, Brenda Berteau, and Jerry Prather.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday July 26, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles, LA from 2:00pm until

6:00pm. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
