Beulah Faye Fournerat, 71, of Lake Charles died at 8:12 PM Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in her resident with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Fournerat was born on February, 22, 1943 in Orange, Texas to Walter and Goldie Winfree. She has lived most of her life in the Lake Charles Area. Mrs. Fournerat was a 1961 graduate of LaGrange Senior High School where she was a Majorette. Mrs. In 1963 Mrs. Fournerat was a contestant for Miss. Lake Charles. She worked at several different refineries in the lake area as a secretary including Olin, Huber Oil Company and Locke Paret. Mrs. Fournerat volunteered as a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed crochet, quilting and cooking for her friends and family. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Mr. Larry Fournerat, one son, Kenneth Fournerat, two granddaughters, Frances Fournerat and Emma Fournerat all of Lake Charles, LA. Mrs. Fournerat is preceded in death by two brothers, William Thomas and Charles Winfree and her parents Goldie and Walter Winfree. A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 AM Friday, November 21, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Father Matthew Cormier will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary to be held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday at 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
