Beverly Doucet Breaux

Beverly Doucet Breaux, 57, of Lake Charles passed away at 7:55 AM, Sunday, January 6, 2013 in her residence surrounded by her family.

Beverly was born in Lake Charles and raised in Westlake, attending Westlake High school and living most of her life in Lake Charles. She was self employed as an Esthetician for thirty-three years. Beverly was a member of the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, shrimping, gardening, and collecting. She had a passion for music and dance. Beverly will be most remembered for her strength and zest for life.

She is survived by her daughter, Anna B Breaux of Lake Charles; her parents, Houston Joseph and Annie (Foy) Doucet of Topsy; two brothers, Doug Carter and wife Cassie of Wichita, KS, and Danny Doucet of Lake Charles; two sisters, Wanda Carter Rutherford and husband Walter, and Brenda Doucet; and her special friend, Michael Holcomb all of Lake Charles. Beverly is preceded in death by husband, Richard Dickie Breaux and sister, Debbie Doucet.

Her funeral mass will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Private family interment will be at Westlake Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, with a rosary at 6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.
