Beverly Gayle Tilley

Beverly Gayle Tilley, 76, of Sulphur, passed away on August 15, 2011 in her residence. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10a.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Walker officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss, LA under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in the funeral home from 3-9p.m. and will resume on Wednesday from 8a.m. until time of service. Beverly was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. She was a homemaker and a member of Olivet Baptist Church for 53 years where she was active in ministry work for 25 years. She also helped with the Henning United Methodist Church Annual garage sale for 25 years. Beverly is survived by the love of her life, Jimmy Tilley of 59 years of Sulphur, son, James Tilley and wife Janet, three daughters, Connie Bush and husband, Randy, Jackie Guidry and Amora Nell Portie all of Sulphur, two brothers, Kermit Burleson, Jr. and wife, Jeanette of Orange, TX and Nolan Burleson and wife, Carol of Hackberry, LA, two sisters, Audrey Berry of Shreveport and Elise Beeler of Sulphur, eight grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kermit Hap and Louise Mokie Burleson, sister, Margaret Clark, brother, Charles Burleson, son-in-law, Tony Guidry and grandson Daniel Ardoin.
