Beverly Jane Gaspard

Beverly Jane Romero Gaspard, 83, of Lake Charles passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 in the comfort of her home.

Mrs. Gaspard was born and raised in Port Arthur and has lived most of her life in Lake Charles. She enjoyed crocheting. She took great pride in her family, as she devoted her life and her love to her husband, children and grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of sixty-five years, Nadel Gaspard; five sons, Doug Gaspard, Greg Gaspard (Donna), Mark Gaspard (Lori), Todd Gaspard (Flo) and Brent Gaspard (Kelly); nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; one brother, Rivers Romero and one sister, Arlene Romero.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Gaspard; daughter-in-law, Cyndi Gaspard; grandson, Zachary Gaspard; parents, Harry and Virginia Broussard Romero; one brother and five sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Father Wayne LeBleu will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation Tuesday will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the funeral home.

The family of Mrs. Gaspard would like to extend heartfelt thanks to her granddaughter, Monique Gaspard, who cared for her care and never left her side. Also, special thanks to the nurses and staff of Heart of Hospice, especially, Courtney, Aaliyah for their kindness and excellence in care and the wonderful care by Felisha.
