Beverly Mary Liprie

Beverly M. (Miller) Liprie, 84, died at 6:10 PM Sunday, August 28, 2016 at her family’s residence.

Ms. Liprie was born in Mallet, LA, spent her youth in Holmwood, LA, and later became a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, LA. She was a graduate of LaGrange High School in the year 1951. She spent multiple years working as a legal secretary and eventually became a home-maker. Ms. Liprie enjoyed tending to her flowers and gardening as well as traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Ms. Liprie was preceded in death by her husband, Tony P. Liprie; her parents, Henry and Martha (Darbonne) Miller; five brothers, Wilfred (T-Will), Russell, Harold (Blackie), Hasting, and Laten Miller, all of Lake Charles.

She is survived by her son, Randal C. Liprie and wife, Deonna (Bryan) Liprie; four grandchildren, Lori Young, Amy Judice, Megan Beard, and Matthew Liprie; four great-grandchildren, Trinity, Kaylin, Riley, and Reid; and brother, Harry Miller of Sulphur, LA.

The family of Beverly M. (Miller) Liprie would like to thank Dr. Charles Woodard, M.D. and staff, Brighten-Bridge Hospice care and Brookdale Assisted Living staff for excellent care and services rendered.

Funeral Service and Catholic Mass will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Lake Charles. Rev. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery in Lake Charles. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume Friday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Johnson Funeral Home.
