Beverly Sanders

Memorial services for Mrs. Beverly Sanders, 78, of Sulphur, will be held Thursday, July 15, 2010 at 4 pm in Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2 pm " until time service. Father Aubrey Guilbeau will officiate. Cremation was entrusted to Robison Funeral Home as per Mrs. Sanders wishes. Beverly Soileau Sanders was born in Dural, Louisiana on February 17, 1932 to Alius & Ada Soileau. Mrs. Sanders passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Sulphur surrounded by her family. She graduated from Eunice High School in 1950. Beverly married her husband Mervin on June 17, 1951 and recently celebrated their 59th anniversary. They raised three children, daughter Cilla LaFleur and sons Gregory &Jeffery Sanders. After her husband retired from the U.S. Army, they moved to Sulphur in 1970. She worked at the Calcasieu Parish Library Sulphur Branch for a number of years where she was also temporary manager for a while. She was a life member of The Lions Crippled Childrens Camp in Leesville, Louisiana, American Legion Post 129 Auxiliary and she belonged to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sulphur. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Ada & Alios Soileau and son Gregory Sanders. Her survivors include her husband of 59 years: Mervin Sanders; Daughter: Cilla LaFleur; Son: Jeffery Sanders; along with a host of nephews and nieces family & friends.
