Bill Emmons

Bill Doland Emmons, 69, of Sulphur passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Emmons was born in Lake Charles to Roy and Linnie Belle Doland Emmons and was a lifelong resident of the Lake area. He was a 1965 graduate of Lake Charles High School and retired after 22 years of loyal service to his customers at Circle K. He was a faithful member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Charmaine, He leaves behind a son, Nicholas Emmons; grandsons, Hunter Emmons, Hayden Emmons and Riley Myers; mother in law, Susan Newman (Denny Smith), Orange, TX; brother in law Chad Wayne Clement (wife, Blanca), Houston, TX; and cousin, Gretchen Says.

His funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 11 o’clock Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 9 o’clock until the time of the service.
