Billy Glen Pelloquin, 56, of Lake Charles died unexpectedly at 10:30 AM on Monday, November 4, 2013 while doing what he enjoyed, working. Mr. Pelloquin was born on December 12, 1956 in Lake Charles, LA where he resided all of his life and was a graduate of LaGrange High School. He held several positions for many local companies throughout his working career and was a member and former instructor for the Operating and Engineers Local #406. Mr. Pelloquin recently worked for Chennault International Airport as an airfield supervisor and also for Turner Industries as an equipment operator. His latest job was as an equipment operator and a master mechanic for Diamond Development. Mr. Pelloquin was a hard working man who enjoyed welding, mechanic work, and operating equipment. He also had a passion for cooking, riding motorcycles, and boating. He attended Kinder Bible Church. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of over 9 years, Andrea "Sissy" Pelloquin of Lake Charles; daughter, Sarah Pelloquin; two step children, Alex and Katelyn Reid both of Lake Charles; two brothers and their spouses, Richard Pelloquin and Wendy of Lake Charles and Jerry Pelloquin and Joy of Sulphur; in-laws, James and Melody Dunn of Kinder and Jimmy and Patti Johnson of Pineville; brother-in-law, James "Red" Bumpers of Lake Charles; a special nephew, Chris Pelloquin of Westlake; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norris and Nora Pelloquin; and a sister, Donna Bumpers. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 7, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Don Barrett will officiate. Burial will follow in Lacassine Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until the start of the services.
