Billy Landry

Billy Landry, 89, of Sulphur, passed away at a care facility on Tuesday January 16, 2024, with his family by his side. Billy worked in the oil field as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed spending most of his spare time at his camp in Toledo Bend. Billy cared for his wife for 15 years before her passing. He loved doing yard work, riding motorcycles, repairing vehicles and small engines. Billy loved spending time with family, especially his kids and grandkids.

Those left to cherish Billy’s memory are his daughter, Sharon Darlene Ardoin; son, Joe Bill Landry; sister, Vera Venissat; his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Datha Lee Landry; son, Benson Landry; son-in-law, Winfred Ardoin; parents, Louis and Pauline Landry; sister Paula Sisco.

Billy’s family would like to thank Westwood Manor Nursing Home of DeRidder, La. for their exceptional, attentive love and care shown to Mr. Billy during his time there.

Memorial Services for Billy will be 1 PM, Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur. A memorial visitation will begin at 10 AM until the time of the service.
