Funeral services for Billy Wayne Rogers, 54, of Sulphur, will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 10am in Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Robert Glenn Rogers will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, September 22nd from 6pm " 9pm and resume on Thursday, September 23rd at 8am " until time of service. Mr. Rogers passed away on Tuesday morning in Sulphur at his home surrounded by his loving family after a long hard battle with cancer. He is survived by his Mother: Jimmie Rogers, Sulphur; Father: Percy Rogers & wife Pauline, Sulphur; 3 Brothers: John Mathis & wife Judy, Sulphur; Rev. Glenn Rogers & wife Belinda, Mansfield, La; Ted Rogers & wife Nina, Sulphur; 6 Sisters: Claire Johnson, Beaumont; Brenda Alverez & husband Frank, Grandberry, Tx; Jimmie Chaumont, Sulphur; Suzie Welch & husband Carlton, Leesville; Juanita Malkamus & husband Ray, Wisconsin along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends who mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his Sister: Jo Ellen White. The family would like to thank the medical staff of W.O. Moss Regional Hospital; Dr. C and the staff of Harbor Hospice for their care & prayers during Billys illness.
