Bob B.J. Weber, 73 of Sulphur passed away on August 13, 2013 in a local nursing center. B. J. worked as a custodian for Sulphur High School retiring after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Coastal Conservation Association and a former member of the Carlyss Lions Club. B.J. was an LSU fan, SHS football fan and loved his whole family. He was very involved in St. Theresa Catholic Church and enjoyed gospel music. B.J. is survived by his three sisters, Ilene LaFleur of Eunice, La, Mary Beth Horton and husband, Rusty and Tammy Vincent and husband, Rusty all of Sulphur; five brothers, Dick Weber of Larose, La, Bill Weber of Iota, La, David Weber and wife, Bernice of Bundaberg, Australia, Quintin Weber and wife, Janice and Mark Weber and wife, Dianna all of Sulphur; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mary Murray Weber. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 10a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Carlyss with Father Joe Aquino officiating. Burial will be at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, La under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday. August 16, 2013 from 4-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of the service.
