Bobbie Wayne Johnson, 82 years old, passed away peacefully at his home with family at his side on March 19, 2021. He was born November 16, 1938 to Joseph Leroy and Hazel O’Quin Johnson along with his identical twin brother, Billie Roy Johnson in Lone Pine, LA. Billie passed away on April 25, 2020.
Billie and Bobbie graduated in 1956 from Bayou Chicot High School. They attended Spencer Business College in Baton Rouge, LA. Billie joined the Marines and Bobbie married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Katie Brown Johnson in 1957. They were married for 63 loving and adventurous years.
Bobbie was employed by NASA at their Michoud Plant in New Orleans. He retired after 20 years as a Master Electrician at Continental Carbon Company in Westlake, LA. Bobbie loved woodworking and refinishing furniture and with Katie at his side they turned their hobby and love of antiques into their livelihood for 31 years. Their travels brought them from the Texas Hill Country to the New England countryside doing Antique shows.
Billie retired from Greyhound bus lines after 20 years of service and retired from the Parish as a Maintenance Supervisor for a decade.
Bobbie is survived by his wife Katie and their three daughters Kimberly White (Loran), Cynthia Johnson, and Melanie McMullen (John). Grandchildren Emily McManus, Evan McManus (Scottie), Katie McManus Clausen, Savanna Allmand Randal (Sean), James Carlton Allmand, John Cabot McMullen II (Macy), Laura McMullen Fletcher (Troy). Great grandchildren Darcy McManus, Reagan McManus, Scarlet Clausen, Georgia Clausen, Jaxon Randal, Wyatt Randal, Abigail Rose McMullen, Lucy Fletcher and Emerson Fletcher.
Billie survived by three daughters Leslie Santana, Robyn Clark and Lisa Johnson.
Billie and Bobbie are also survived by their sister Diane Linzay (Roy F) of Cheneyville, LA and a host of nieces and nephews. They were preceded in death by their parents and brother, Donald Ray Johnson.
Anyone that met Bobbie and Billie and knew their quick wit and humorous “one liner’s” knows that they are now entertaining the angels and loved ones in heaven.

A celebration of their lives will be held on Sunday March 21, 2021 at Gateway Church of God in Moss Buff, Louisiana from 1-2 pm. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm officiated by their nephew Kirk Johnson.
