Bobbie Faye Quienalty

Bobbie Faye Quienalty, 81, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, surrounded by family at a local hospital in Lake Charles, LA.

Mrs. Quienalty was born October 17, 1937 in St. Landry, LA. Her parents were Dallas and Gracie Bunyett Deville. She finished high school in Bayou Chico, LA. Bobbie met and married Charley Quienalty in 1955, and they moved to Lake Charles in 1960. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Lake Charles since 1960, and currently Sale Street Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family, bible study, cooking, playing golf and shopping. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a strong woman of faith, and no one left her house hungry.

Bobbie is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Judge Charley Quienalty; daughter, Shari Williams (Curtis) of Lake Charles; sons, Michael Quienalty (Margaret), Douglas “Doug” Quienalty (Angela), both of Lake Charles; three grandchildren, Garett Quien Williams, Taylor Quienalty, and Destin Williams; four great grandchildren, Quienly Williams, Rohan Williams, Koen Doxey, and Theo Faye Williams; and one sister, Margaret Turner of Gonzales, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents, Wheeler and Martha Bunyett.

Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Randy Edwards will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
