Bobbie Jean Perron

Bobbie Jean Perron, 71, of Lake Charles, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016, following a brief illness.

Ms. Perron was born on October 6, 1944 in Lake Charles to Arcelus and Agnes Perron. She was a life-long resident of Lake Charles and a graduate of LaGrange High School. She worked the past forty years for KMI Printing. Ms. Perron loved being outdoors while grilling or gardening. Spending time with her daughters and especially her grandchildren always brought her a smile, lots of laughter and good times. She will be most remembered as “one-of-a-kind” for her selflessness, loving heart and welcoming character.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Bridgette Smith of Lake Charles and Brandi Talbert and husband Brad, of Lake Charles; granddaughter, Casey Sharpe of Vinton, LA; seven grandchildren, Madison, Payton, Taylor, Emma, Logan, Claire, and Avery; as well as her life-long friends Ingѐ Martin-Brown, and Amelia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; eight siblings; and her grandson, Benjamin Talbert.

Memorial services will be at 6:00 PM Friday, July 29, 2016 at Christian Life Church in Vinton, LA.  Visitation Friday will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM in the church.  Arrangements were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.

The family of Ms. Perron would like to extend a special “Thank You” to the nurses and staff of Heart of Hospice for their excellence in care and compassion during this difficult time.
