Bobby Bob Gene Hutchinson, 83, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, January 26, 2013 in a local hospital.
Mr. Hutchinson was born and raised in St. Louis, OK and has lived over forty years in Lake Charles. He served the United States Army. Having retired Regional Manager, Mr. Hutchinson worked thirty years, primarily with B.J. Hughes, in the Oil Field Service industry. He was an avid outdoorsman whom loved hunting, fishing and shooting sporting clays and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed football, and especially loved cheering on the University of Oklahoma Sooners. Mr. Hutchinson also enjoyed gardening and cooking. His greatest times were those shared with his son, daughter-in-law and grandsons.
He leaves to honor his memory, his son, Randy Hutchinson and wife Julia of Lake Charles and two grandsons, Shelby Hutchinson of Lake Charles and Seth Hutchinson, serving the US Navy at Pearl Harbor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kay Kneeland Hutchinson; his parents and three sisters.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 02, 2013 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Karl Klaus will officiate. Interment will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation Friday will be from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service in the funeral home.
