Bobby Ray Miller, Sr.

Bobby Ray Miller, Sr., 78, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 in Jennings.  Mr. Miller was born on December 26, 1944 to J.C. and Dillie Miller in Laurel, MS.  Bobby served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a Patriot.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was his grandsons’ number one fan.  He also was an avid Saints, LSU and Sam Houston Broncos fan.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Judy Lee Noel Miller; children, Angela Miller (Jonathan McKellar, Sr.) and Bobby R. Miller, Jr. (Crystal); grandchildren, Joshua Meche (Karlye), Jeremy Meche (Abbey), Jonathan Meche, Faith Miller, Seth Miller, Maci Mims and Sage Mims; great grandchildren, Aria Meche, Asher Meche, and Micah Meche; sibling, David Miller (Karen), and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Virgil, Jay, James, Roy, Dot, Betty, Tommie, Robert, and Annie.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with Shane Manuel officiating.  Interment  will be at SWLA Veteran’s Cemetery in Jennings at 12:30 pm. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time at the funeral home.
