Bobby Ray Stewart, 83, of Lake Charles, LA died at 6:30 AM on August 29, 2014 at 6:30 AM in his residence. Mr. Stewart was born December 3, 1930 in Paducah, TX, where he was lived until serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked at various locations as a store manager for J.C. Penney's for forty-one years. He retired from the Lake Charles store and has lived in the area for the past twenty years. He was a member of University United Methodist Church and will always be remembered for his big heart and his generosity. Mr. Stewart enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and traveling. He was a past member of the Lake Charles Country Club and a member of the Kawana's Club. He also enjoyed his Thursday night dinners with his friends. Mr. Stewart is survived by his wife, Elouise Fay Stewart of Lake Charles; daughter, Anne Naul of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren, Katie Rouse and husband Chris of Hudson Oaks, TX, Jacob Naul of McKinney, TX and Ezekiel Naul of Irving, TX; great-grandchildren, Jack and James Rouse; and brother-in-law and best friend, Virgil Elliott of Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Juanita Gibbs Stewart; son, Robert Neil Stewart; parents, Claude and Emma Stewart; brother, Jim Stewart; and sister, Catherine McWilliams. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverends Charlie Langford will officiate. A graveside service will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah, TX.
