Bobby Ray Wall

Bobby Ray Wall, 60, of Lake Charles passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

Mr. Wall was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of LaGrange High School and studied at McNeese State University. He retired Chief Photographer, with thirty years of service from KPLC TV. Mr. Wall enjoyed sailing, scuba diving and loved living on the river. He will be remembered as a kind man who helped countless others.

He leaves to honor his memory, his wife of thirty-one years, Deidre “Dee” Rogers Wall; step-daughter, Nicole Karam (James); two grandchildren, Emma and Avery Karam; brother, Wade Wall (Terri); step-father, Raleigh Newman and step-sister, Mary Ellen Newman Montgomery (Buddy), all of Lake Charles.

He also leaves his mother-in-law, Brenda Rogers Heitman; maternal uncle, Jim Reeves (Cheryn); brothers-in-law, Kenny “Tiger” Rogers, (Vickie) and Tony Rogers (Julie); sisters-in-law, Angie Rogers, Kristi Rogers Bolin (Heath); nieces, Meghan and Jillian Rogers, Lilly LaPlace and Gabby and Maddie Bolin; nephews, Benjamin LaPlace, Jackson Bolin and J.W. Pinkney; many cousins and many friends that will miss him tremendously.

Bobby’s family is extremely grateful for long-term friend, Ty Davis (Cheryl).

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Wall; mother, Myrna “Mickey” Newman and youngest brother, Johnny Newman.

Graveside services were held at 3:30 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Highland Memory Gardens under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
