Boyce Wayne Hollingsworth

April 28, 1952 — March 11, 2022

Boyce Wayne Hollingsworth “Bubba”, 69, of Sulphur passed away Friday, March 11, 2022, in a local hospital due to stroke complications.  He had his loving family by his side.

Boyce was a Westlake native and a 1970 graduate of Westlake High School. He joined the United States Navy serving his country for 8 years. He was an operator for SASOL and retired after 39-1/2 years.  He loved being outdoors working and sometimes playing on his tractor. Boyce enjoyed gardening, raising catfish, and resting by his firepit. He had a big heart and helped anyone in need. Boyce will be remembered as a loving husband, and father; and to his grandchildren, he was the greatest “Grandpa”.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Charlotte; two children, Denise Hollingsworth (Mark), and Brad Hollingsworth (Nickie); six grandchildren, Brock, Morgan, Madison, Maycie, Kirsten, and Remi; great grandson, Luke Wayne; sisters, Donna, Teresa, Mary, and Pam; brothers, Johnny and Rory; and a special sister-in-law, Carolyn Theriot.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and mother-in-law.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Westlake. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Cemetery.  Rev. Jenefh Joseph will officiate. Visitation will be 4 – 8pm, Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in Johnson & Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur with a recitation of the Rosary at 6pm and will resume Wednesday, 8am - 10:15am.
